The Book Challenge for December is to read a book published in 2024. When you have completed the challenge, please notify the library to have your name entered into the drawing for a gift certificate from a local business.
After School Squad will meet today, December 18, at 4 P.M. Lego Club will be held tomorrow, December 19 at 4 P.M. Children’s programs will take a break for the next two weeks and begin again the first full week of January. Storytime will meet again Tuesday, January 7, 10 A.M. for littles ones age 0-5 and their parents/caregivers. After School Squad will be held Wednesday, January 8, 4 P.M. for elementary students. All ages are invited to Lego Club Thursday, January 9, 4 P.M. Preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult.
Be sure to pick up a book or two from the Christmas Book Tree. There are many great holiday stories to choose from. Three new titles include “The Mistletoe Mystery” by Nita Prose, “A Christmas Duet” by Debbie Macomber, and “Blue Christmas Bones” by Carolyn Haines.
The library will be closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
The Book Club will resume in January. Members may pick up the new selection “The Five Wishes of Mr. Murray McBride” by Joe Siple January 6-10. The first discussion will be January 13, 4 P.M.
