We've Got The County Covered

Chinook Senior Center

Hello From the

Chinook Senior Center

Firstly, let me take a moment to THANK all of the people who donated an item, or who came to help with the auction, on Saturday! It is a tremendous amount of work and there are people around me who are always willing to help. I am so very grateful for those people. THANK YOU, also to all of the people who came to bid on the items that we collected over the past 4 months. Every single person matters in the outcome of our success! Pat yourselves on the back, knowing that you are an integral part of our Center being the lively, fun filled place that it is and that you, in fact are a part of our family, here. We appreciate your efforts and your contributions.

We have a few things coming up that we hope you are able to share with us in. Friday, Dec., 20th is our next semi-monthly card party @ 2:00. Please call & sign up so that we can match our Pinochle tables up!

Our Birthday lunch will be held on Fri., Dec., 27th. It will be a Ham Dinner with all of the trimmings. If you were born in December and have not gotten an invitation, please call us! We want to include ALL community members who are lucky enough to be born in December! We are asking that you let us know by Dec., 23rd, as we will be very busy on Dec., 24th and the Center will be closed on December 25th, as well as Dec., 26th. 357-2648 is how you reach us. We do not make any reservations via Facebook or Messenger. We are simply too busy to police those media outlets.

December 31st is New Year’s Eve, and we will be hosting Cards & Games of all kinds, from 1:00-4:00! Please call and let us know that you will join us for this fun event.

As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, let us remember why it is that we have Christmas.

For many people Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter (recognized Holidays) can also be a very difficult time of grieving the loss of someone who has passed unexpectedly. Please keep those people in mind and reach out to them. Find a small way to bring them joy. We, as a community need to remember so many who are on this grief journey.

We pray that you will be surrounded by the ones near & dear to you, as we enter this season of amazing grace.
