The library and the Montana Library Network are hosting the virtual program "Preserving Montana's Oral Histories and Traditions" on January 16, at 6:30 P.M. Presenters Candy Zion and Jennifer Birnel will train interested participants how to interview, collect, and archive oral histories of people in their communities. Join us at the library for a watch party or you may watch on your own device by registering at https://tinyurl.com/HistoriesandTraditions.

Each year the library holds a monthly book challenge. Patrons are invited to participate by reading the category of book chosen for that month. January's Book Challenge is to read book set in the snow. When you complete the monthly challenge, notify the library to have your name entered into a drawing to win a gift certificate from a local business. The list of monthly book challenges for 2025 is included.
