We've Got The County Covered
Hello From the
Chinook Senior Center
So, here we are at the close of another year. A year of fellowship. A year of good health. A year of good camaraderie. We here, at the Chinook Senior Center have been richly blessed by all of the wonderful people who partner with us to make this Center a place of JOY! We have countless people who come in every day and help in a myriad of ways. We have people who deliver meals to those who truly cannot come in and dine with us. We have people who help serve. We have people who clear the tables. We have people who check everyone in at the desk. We have the most wonderful people that you would ever wish to meet, all right here! If you haven’t been in, you should put that on the top of your New Year’s Calendar! We also have about the best meals around, anywhere, for an absurdly low cost! Yes, we are richly blessed.
We have celebrated many people within our community who had birthdays in December. We do this each and every month, on the last Friday of each month, to celebrate all of our community members who are able to join us. If we haven’t reached out to you, it is because we do not know when your birthday is. If you are over 60 years of age and would like to be a part of our family, PLEASE stop in and see what all we do.
I trust that you all had a wonderful Christmas, filled with the JOY that the holiday brings, all due to the huge miracle of one tiny child.
It appears that last week got away from me and I did not get an article in the paper. So sorry. You know how it goes…..it seems that Christmas is almost here and then….whoosh! It is gone and the ability to make up for lost time goes with it.
