High school seniors and college students across Montana, it's your time to shine! Starting January 1, Reach Higher Montana invites you to apply for its annual "It's Scholarship Time" program. With a single application, students can unlock access to multiple scholarships totaling tens of thousands of dollars in funding for post-secondary education. Applications close promptly on March 1, so don't miss your chance!
This year's scholarship offerings include:
• $2,000 Reach Higher Montana Scholarship (50 awards for high school seniors attending Montana post-secondary institutions).
• $1,000 Bridging the Gap Scholarship (for students aging out of foster care).
• $2,000 Carl Valvoda Scholarship (for ROTC participants or U.S. Armed Forces members).
• $1,250 Gilman Family Scholarship (for college students studying trades, agriculture, or natural resources, with ties to Sheridan or Twin Bridges High Schools).
• $2,000 Horse Creek Scholarship (6 awards, with preference for Beaverhead and Madison County graduates).
• $2,000 Kelly Kuntz Scholarship (for college students pursuing business degrees).
• $1,500 Rotary of Helena Scholarship (for seniors graduating from Helena area high schools).
Eligibility requirements vary by scholarship, so applicants are encouraged to carefully review details on the Reach Higher Montana website. Scholarships are non-renewable, but students are welcome to reapply each year they remain eligible.
