Join us for the third annual “Love Chocolate....Love Your Library!” party Thursday, February 13 between 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. There will be chocolate confections to buy. Vendors are needed and there is no cost to reserve a table. Bake and decorate cakes, cookies, cupcakes, etc. with a Valentine or library theme to be voted on by the public. Volunteers are needed to make chocolate goodies for sampling and to help during the event. There will be a photo booth, chocolate fondue and Valentine cards to make and take also. Help us celebrate Love Your Library month by attending this family friendly event.

MSU Extension and the Montana Community Foundaton are sponsoring the Reimaging Rural program to be held at the library. This program seeks to increase volunteer engagement in rural communities by hosting in-person gatherings for local volunteers and leaders. At these gatherings rural-focused speakers will share via Zoom how their communities have reimagined rural to improve the lives of the community members. Attendees then will discuss possible ideas for their local communities. Join us for the next meetings February 11 and 18 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.

The Book Club may pick up the new selection “Mother-Daughter Murder Night” by Nina Simon this week. The first discussion will be Monday, February 10, 4 P.M.

The Book Challenge for February is to read a book that reminds you of home. Be sure to notify the library if you have completed January’s challenge.

The library has a new service for its patrons. You may now sign up to receive text notifications when a hold is ready, a courtesy text notification the day before an item is due, and seven days after an item is overdue. Contact the library for more information.

The library will be closed Monday, February 17 in observance of Presidents’ Day.

The Community Heart & Soul group will meet at the library February 18, noon to 1:00 P.M. Bring your lunch!

New selections ready for check out include the new Jack Reacher novel “In Too Deep” by Lee Child and Andrew Child, “An Insignificant Case” by Phillip Margolin, and “The Waiting” by Michael Connelly.

“A Truth Revealed” is the third installment in The Heart of Cheyenne Series by Tracie Peterson. Nora Roberts has written “The Mirror,” Book 2 of The Lost Bride Trilogy.
