“The Consequence of Anna” is written by Kare Birkin and Mark Bornz. This historical fiction story is based on true events. Set in the 1930s in Australia, Anna May Shahan is a wild child raised on a lush farm by the sea. Although Anna grows up to be an eccentric and sweet woman, she is not without her demons and a haunting, dark side. Anna and her husband, James, run her family’s sheep station. When Anna’s widowed cousin, Lottie, returns from London after a decade she confesses her heart’s greatest desire to have a child. What happens next brings devastating consequences.

Katherine Greene is the author of “The Lake of Lost Girls.” Told in alternating timelines, this haunting novel uses suspenseful podcast clips to weave a twisty tale of a missing student and her sister who is desperate for answers.

The latest Longmire story by Craig Johnson is “Tooth and Claw.” Walt Longmire and Henry Standing Bear are back in this action-packed novella set in the Alaska tundra. There they are pushed to their limits as they face powerful enemies who will do anything to get what they want.

Tessa Afshar has written “The Queen’s Cook,” an inspirational novel in the Queen Esther’s Court series.

Two outcasts find themselves caught in a web of dangerous magic and dark secrets that could change the world forever in the first installment in an epic fantasy series. “Sword Catcher” is written by Cassandra Clare.

“Perfect Storm” is the newest installment in the Alaska Wild Mystery Series by Paige Shelton.
