Gaylord Waisath born October 16, 1940 to Herman and Hazel Waisath. He lived on a Farm west of Chinook with 7 siblings.
Gaylor graduated from Chinook High School in 1958, then joined the Navy for 3 years serving in the Pacific. He worked construction for 2 years and due to an accident that resulted from a D9 Cat rear end dump truck rolled on his leg he spent 6 months in the hospital. He then decided to go back to school and graduated from Brigham Young University in 1971 with a masters degree in Electrical Engineering. He then worked for Hughes Aircraft Co. and later Boeing in research and development.
He married Jeanine Cornelius from Ronan, MT on December 19, 1970. Together they had 6 children, Jon Michelle, Traci, Theron, Rana, Kate and Falon. Jeanine pass away due to cancer on February 10, 1999.
Gaylord later married Beki Titus on May 12, 2007. He now added 3 step children, Jana, Danielle and Derek to the union.
Gaylord fought Parkinsons for 20 years until his passing on February 11, 2025. A funeral service will be in Pocotello, ID with burial in Blackfoot Idaho at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetary.
