During the month of March be sure to stop by to take advantage of the “Buy a Bag O’Books!” sale. Choose from the used books in the Reading Room and fill a grocery sack for only one dollar.

The Book Challenge for March is to read a book with the words “Luck” or “Lucky” in the title. When you complete the challenge your name will be entered to win a gift certificate from a local business.

The Book Club, a book discussion group for adults, meets on Mondays at 4 P.M. The new selection “God of the Woods” by Liz Moore may be picked up the week of March 10-14 and the first discussion will be held March 17.

Two new westerns by William W. Johnstone are “Kill Me Tomorrow” and “Nice Guys Finish Dead.”

“Angel of Vengeance” is the latest Pendergast novel by Preston & Child. FBI Special Agent Pendergast and Constance Greene take a final stand against New York’s deadliest serial killer who is Pendergast’s own ancestor and Constance’s greatest enemy.

Marie Tierney is the author of “Deadly Animals.” Ava Bonney, a fourteen-year-old studious girl, has a dark secret: she is obsessed with the rate at which dead animals decompose. One night as she searches for roadkill, she discovers the body of one her classmates. As teenagers continue to go missing, Ava is determined to figure out who is hunting her classmates before she becomes the next prey.

Irene Hannon has written the Heroes of Quantico series which includes “Against All Odds,” “An Eye for an Eye,” and “In Harm’s Way.”

“Den of Iniquity” is the new J.P. Beaumont novel by J.A. Jance. Former Seattle homicide cop Beaumont faces personal and professional issues. His daughter and son-in-law are having marital troubles and his grandson shows up on his doorstep wanting to move in with his grandfather. Meanwhile, a friend from Beau’s past asks him for help in looking for what appears to be an accidental fentanyl overdose of a young man. Those who know him best are convinced something much more sinister is happening.
