March is here and with it all of the different weather patterns that we can expect for Montana! We have all enjoyed some very unseasonably warm climates for several days, but I don’t think winter is quite done with us. Before you know it we will be celebrating the Risen Lord. Several different denominations celebrate Lent during this season, so, please know that we will offer a Fish alternative on each Friday, during this Lenton season. Just let us know that you will be observing Lent by not eating meat and we will serve our option. Please let us know in advance.

We have been enjoying many different movies, with the inclement weather, and one that we watched most recently was Cabrini. If you have not seen this movie, I encourage you to do so. It is based upon a true story of a nun with tremendous determination and absolutely NO QUIT in her! She has changed our world in a most magnificent way! She started orphanages world wide and they remain open to this day!

Many fine people attended Amy Belle Smith’s 90th birthday. I am so glad that she was blessed with many community people as well as relatives and travelers from afar to wish her well.

March 20th is coming soon. That is the first day of spring, and regardless of the weather, we will celebrate it! We will be painting flower pots that day in anticipation of actual Spring. The following week we will be planting seeds in the flower pots and watching them grow! The day will come when we can plant them outdoors, too.

We have very special music on St. Patrick’s Day, Gene Allen and Sheri Neuens will be playing with an Irish twist. We will also be serving a traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage meal. Whether you are Irish or just like Corned Beef, please call and sign up!

Our regular Board Meeting is scheduled for Wed., March 19th @ 3:10 p.m. Our next Foot Clinic will be held on April 7th
