Ernestine Wallner Olson

Ernestine Wallner Olson, 86, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025, at her daughter's home in Missoula, MT.

Born on April 26, 1938, Ernestine grew up with her two brothers in Chinook, Montana. She graduated college at SMU in Dallas, Texas. She dedicated her life to teaching, shaping young minds for an incredible 50 years. Her passion for education left a lasting impact on countless students and colleagues.

Beyond her career, Ernestine was deeply involved in her community and faith. She was a devoted member of Conrad Lutheran Church, where she found joy in playing the organ for services. Her love of music was just one of the many ways she enriched the lives of those around her. She also enjoyed playing bridge, gardening, and swimming activities that brought her both relaxation and camaraderie.

Ernestine is survived by Ed Wallner and Candace Molzhon; Harold and Betty Olson; and Tanya Olson. She was predeceased by Ernest and Gwen Wallner; Paul Wallner; and Darold Olson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 14, 2025, at Conrad Lutheran Church in Conrad, Montana. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by lunch served at City Park at noon.

Ernestine will be remembered as a loving and generous. Her kindness and dedication to others will be cherished by all who knew her.
