Johnson Contributes to Chinook Pool and Park Project

A Class of 1974 Alumni of Chinook High School, Jerry Johnson, has donated over $2500 to the Chinook Pool and Park Project. His incredible donation is beyond humbling to the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation. When asked about his donation, he states " It's on honor to contribute to the Pool project. Definitely, money well spent on a project that means a great deal to the Chinook community." Thank you so much Jerry, for your contribution to the project for the benefit of children of the community for years to come. We are beyond excited to start construction in August, and with your contributions, it has made this project possible for Chinook. Thank you, Jerry!

Gale and Jeri Kerns, former Chinook and Great Falls Alumni, have made a donation to the Chinook Pool and Park Rehabilitation Project. Gale states “we lived just a few blocks from the swimming pool, and as a youngster I lived there. I started the day at 0630 with the swim team, then moved on to whatever class I could fit into - I remember taking lifesaving - and then coming back in the afternoon for several hours. I did this through Junior High, and loved the pool. Even as I aged and had to work I would often get to the pool several hours a week. I was never good at racing, but swimming was an important skill, and I used it later to learn to SCUBA dive and travel to fun places for that.” Thank you so much Gale and Jeri for your generous contribution to the community of Chinook. We are so grateful for your support and look forward to the project commencing in August.
